An Open Letter to the Undecided and Nonvoters of Nova Scotia: How to Vote “None of the Above”

Today Nova Scotians vote in a rare summer election.

“That we have the vote means nothing. That we use it in the right way means everything.” - Lou Henry Hoover

Unfortunately, Nova Scotia elections are the one and ONLY time that your political opinion counts so make it count! It could be years before you have this chance again. Don’t waste it!

Plan to Vote!

In the past many voters have been undecided on election day, also one in two voters do not vote.

So here is a suggested game plan:

Option 1:

IF you do NOT want change and are happy with things then you have narrowed the choice down to the Old-Fashioned Parties (PC, NDP, and L) so pick a colour. They are all status quo.

Option 2

BUT if you ARE dissatisfied and you want change then vote for your local Atlantica Party candidate.

Option 3

IF you do not have a local Atlantica candidate you have the option of voting NONE OF THE ABOVE!

Simply write something like “Atlantica” or “None of the Above” or “Change” across the available choices on your ballot.

What will that do? Elections Nova Scotia will count that ballot as rejected. It reports these along with the other results. A NONE OF THE ABOVE vote!

“This is a rare chance for you to make this election into your own personal referendum,” said Jonathan Dean, Leader of the Atlantica Party. “Imagine if the rejected ballots outnumbered the others. Wouldn't that be saying something? But you have to cast your ballot!”

The Atlantica Party was established in 2006 to promote a political revolution in Nova Scotia to fix our broken political system and empower the voter. It is the only political alternative committed to making Nova Scotia a "have" province.
